You look at family, friends, turkey and the Internet for ways that people can prove they love you through gifts next month.It's also a break from gravity. It's especially important right now because as soon as Syrian refugees enter the country, there will be a terrorist attack. Or, if Syrian refugees are not allowed to enter the country, there will be refugees starving and it will be our fault. Doesn't seem like there's a middle ground sometimes does there? It's confusing. It's hard to be right or do the right thing when people don't play by the rules. Then of course you can get into which rules are better, more protective or morally superior.In my Nerf life, I'm concerned about my runny nose and the leak in my fishing waders. That sort of thing happens when comfort shrinks your world.When you look past the scope of your daily routine, you get caught up in the helplessness of what to do but all you can do is share, repost, retweet or change the filter on your profile.It's hard to fathom some of the problems that exist, but exist they do, and at times it seems like they only exist to harm us then divide us. To make us pick teams. Me vs You. Us vs Them. Jab, jab, jab with our enlightened opinions, then, if needed, the haymakers from long ago that may or may not have even involved us. No need for context.
