As fast as your eyes can take you

The Last Seasonby Eric BlehmI used to think there was no such thing as a "quick read", because there is nothing quick about taking out 300 pages of book. What is really meant by that phrase is that you become literally unable to book mark your page and step away. The Last Season epitomizes "quick read". It's the story of legendary Backcountry Ranger Randy Morgenson who mysteriously disappeared in the Sierra Nevada in 1996. The story is riveting, the writing fantastic. It is certainly on par with Jon Krakauer's Into the Wild and Into Thin Air in terms of depth of research and story-telling.
